Large Group Tours

We welcome visits to the Bahá’í Gardens by groups of 20 or more participants and by groups with special interests. Tour information for group tours is provided below. Once you have reviewed the information below, complete a group request form at least 7 business days in advance of your planned visit. The information you provide will help us prepare the tour plan and designate a guide that speaks the language preferred by your group. After receiving the form, we will contact you to confirm the arrangements or to discuss possible options.

About Tour

The tour provides spectacular ‎views of the Baháʼí Gardens and Haifa. The guided tour includes ‎Baháʼí history, beliefs, and the ‎significance of Gardens. This tour includes 750 stairs and is not suitable for those with walking difficulties. The starting and ending locations are different.

General Information

Tour Duration: 50 min

Visiting Hours: by Reservation Only Tuesday to Sunday 

Fee: Entrance is free of charge.

Charge: Entrance is free of charge.

Parking: Bus and car parking are available on Yefe Nof St.

Dress: Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and reaches your knees, with no tears. Because of the pebbled paths and occasionally slippery pavements, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes with good traction. During the summer months, consider bringing a hat and sunscreen.

Food and drink: Visitors are welcome to bring their own bottle of water, but drinking other beverages, eating, chewing gum, and smoking are not allowed inside the Gardens.​

Strollers: For the safety of our visitors, the use of a stroller is not possible on tours due to the steep slope.​

Restrooms are available at the start point.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your ‎reservation for any reason, ‎please ‎email or call us and ‎include the date and time of your ‎booking so that we can allow ‎others to visit. ‎

There are two designated accessible parking spots located 50m west of the entrance on Yefe Nof St.

The nearest accessible public bathroom is located 100m east of the entrance on Yefe Nof St.‎

Mid-Terrace Tour

About Tour

Spectacular views of the upper terraces and the Shrine of the Báb are offered from the central axis of the garden. This tour includes 50 stairs and can be adjusted for those with walking difficulties.
The tour concludes near the Shrine where visitors continue unguided or exit at Hatzionut Ave.

Tour Duration: 35 min

Visiting Hours: by Reservation Only Tuesday to Sunday. 

Entrance Fee: Entrance is free of charge.

Entrance Location: The entrance is near the Bahá’í Gardens / Hatzionut bus stop.

Parking: Parking for buses and cars is possible along the street.

Dress: Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and reaches your knees, with no tears. Because of the pebbled paths and occasionally slippery pavements, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes with good traction. During the summer months, consider bringing a hat and sunscreen.

Food and drink: Visitors are welcome to bring their own bottle of water, but drinking other beverages, eating, chewing gum, and smoking are not allowed inside the Gardens.​

The path includes 10 meters of a moderate slope, and wheelchair users may wish ‎to have assistance. ‎

Lower-Terrace Tour

About Tour

The tour is a unique experience, providing views of both the upper and lower terraces, as well as the Shrine in Haifa. It includes informal and formal Gardens featuring a mix of native and adapted ‎trees, plants, and flowers.‎ Your guide will talk about Baháʼí history, beliefs, and about the significance of Gardens. This tour takes about one hour ‎and includes 600 stairs. ‎The tour concludes at German Colony Plaza on Ben Gurion Avenue.‎

Tour Duration: 1 Hour

Visiting Hours: by Reservation Only Tuesday to Sunday 

Fee: Entrance is free of charge.

Entrance: The tour entrance is located on the western edge of the Bahá’í Gardens on Hatzionut – uphill from the bridge.

Charge: Entrance is free of charge.

Parking: Street parking located nearby.

Dress: Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and reaches your knees, with no tears. Because of the pebbled paths and occasionally slippery pavements, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes with good traction. During the summer months, consider bringing a hat and sunscreen.
